How To Stop Prevent a DDOS ATTACK

Hi Guys now am posting a blog for DDOS attack prevention.
As you know that this site is all about  hacking posts and etc, hence anybody who want to be a hacker should know about DDOS attack.
Like if you want to be an Ethical Hacker so you should know how to stop  or atleast prevent your site or organisaton from a DDOS attack.
Or on the other hand if you want to be a Black Hat Hacker(which i dont support and niether my site) then also you should know how to organize a DDOS attack.

1.Basically what is a DDOS attack:

In computing, a Distributed Denial of Service(DDOS) attack is an attempt to make a machine or network resource or also an organisation unavailable to its intended users, such as to temporarily or indefinitely interrupt or suspend services of a host connected to the Internet. A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) is where the attack source is more than one–and often thousands of-unique IP addresses. It is analogous to a group of people crowding the entry door or gate to a shop or business, and not letting legitimate parties enter into the shop or business, disrupting normal operations.
 Basically a DDOS attack is done so that the organization or the company's server cannot process the requests of its original hosts as the server is busy servicing the fake requests that alongwith the attack.

. Many organisations like the BBC news website was taken down by hackers group using the DDOS attack by flooding the server by sending fake requests of upto 602 GBPS.

They actually had to clean all the servers to take them online.

Hence guys i am providing some tips to stay away from the DDOS attack:

1.Setting up A good and secured firewall:

By setting up a firewall u can prevent the DDOS attack as firewalls scan the fake requests and filter them hence protecting your website.

2.By Dropping the Traffic:

The traffic can be dropped by the admin on a particular port by blocking the port and then again unblocking it.

3.Upstream filtering

All traffic is passed through a "cleaning center" or a "scrubbing center" via various methods such as proxies, tunnels or even direct circuits, which separates "bad" traffic (DDoS and also other common internet attacks) and only sends good traffic beyond to the server. The provider needs central connectivity to the Internet to manage this kind of service unless they happen to be located within the same facility as the "cleaning center" or "scrubbing center".^[45]

4.By utillising the whole Bandwidth :
The user can actually allocate the whole bandwidth to itself and hence prevent that DDOS attack.
