So to know about your rivals website or to gather information about any other website .
There are numerous safe ways to know almost everything about any other website.
And it wont be illegal also.I also use the same method that i am posting.
Also , for becoming a good ethical hacker, information gathering is the first and most essential method,gathering info about your competitor , you should know everything about about your rival.
So the first website you can visit to gather info is:
1. Spyfu.com: Goto spyfu.com and enter the keyword or the website's name you want to gather info.
2 . Keywordspy.com : This KeywordSpy.com also works the same as above mentioned wesite.
You just have to enter the keywords and there you go you get all the info about your rival or any other website.
3.Sec.gov: Another tool for performing info gathering is the EDGAR database .Here below are some steps to that show you how to use the EDGAR database.
1. Determine the company’s stock symbol using Google.
2. Open a web browser to www.sec.gov.
3. On the right side of the page, click the link EDGAR Filers
4. Click the Search For Filings menu and enter the company name or stock symbol to search the
filings for information. You can learn, for example, where the company is registered and who
reported the filing.
5. Use the Yahoo! yellow pages (http://yp.yahoo.com) to see if an address or phone number is listed for any of the employee names you have located.
